Why hire a veteran-owned screen repair company in DeBary FL

Why hire a veteran-owned screen repair company in DeBary FL

Living in Central Florida is great. We have beautiful spots like the St. Johns River to boat on and the Spring-to-Spring Trail for long bike rides. But let’s be honest: Florida has two seasons. It is either "pretty nice outside" or "a lizard just stared at you from your lanai like you owe him rent."

That is where I come in. My name is David. I am a 100% disabled veteran and the owner of DeBary Screen Repair by David. I am also neurodivergent, which just means my brain is wired a bit differently. For me, that means I am incredibly detail-oriented. I don’t just slap a screen on and run. I treat your home like it is my own.

Why Choose a Local Veteran-Owned Business?

When you hire a veteran, you get someone who knows the value of hard work and keeping a promise. My family has been doing this for four generations. I love fixing things. Honestly, it makes my brain happy to see a messy, torn screen turn into a clean, tight, and perfect panel.

We serve all of Volusia County, from our home base in DeBary, FL, to Deltona, Orange City, and DeLand. Whether you are closer to the DeBary Hall Historic Site or shopping at the Deltona Walmart on Howland Blvd, we have you covered. We even head over to the Sanford Historic District and out toward the New Smyrna Beach area.

Quality You Can Trust

Being a neurodivergent business owner means I am thorough. I notice the small things. If a screw is loose or a frame is slightly bent, I am going to fix it. I want your lanai to be a place where you can enjoy the breeze without the bugs.

I take pride in my work and my license (FL license #L23000258525). You don’t have to worry about me disappearing before the job is done. I show up, I work hard, and I am always honest about what needs to be replaced.

Our Simple Pricing

I believe in being clear and fair. You shouldn't have to guess what a repair will cost. Here is our pricing:

• Pool Cage Wall Panels: $65
• Roof Panels: $130
• Lanai, Porch, or Window Panels: $75
• Minimum Service Call: $130

Note: A service call is the minimum amount for a visit. It helps cover travel and time, whether I am working near Gemini Springs or driving out toward the Daytona International Speedway.

Serving Our Neighbors in Volusia County

I spend a lot of time driving around our beautiful area. You might see me grabbing coffee near the SunRail station in DeBary or heading to visit family near the DeBary Farmhouse Inn. I love the nature here, too. I often think about the manatees over at Orange City’s Blue Spring State Park while I’m working. It’s important to keep our outdoor spaces in good shape so we can enjoy the view of the Betty Steflik Preserve or a quiet afternoon by the water.

Whether you need a quick fix before you head to the DeLand Artisan Alley or a full screen replacement for your pool cage, I am ready to help. I know how fast a screen can get damaged by a stray golf ball or a heavy Florida thunderstorm. I also know that you don't want to spend your whole weekend trying to patch it up yourself.

Let me handle the ladders and the heavy lifting. I enjoy the work, and I guarantee you will be happy with the results. I am a 100% disabled veteran, so I know how to get the mission done right the first time.

Why Wait? Let’s Get That Screen Fixed!

Don’t let those Florida bugs take over your porch. Whether you are living near the beautiful Gemini Springs or just want to sit on your back patio without being eaten by mosquitoes, I am here to help.

I am a fourth-generation screen professional who actually enjoys the process. No stress, no hidden fees, and definitely no lizard staring contests if you don’t want them. Just clean screens and a happy homeowner.
