Patio enclosure options for DeBary FL homeowners

Living in Central Florida is a dream. You can bike the Spring-to-Spring Trail in the morning or head over to Gemini Springs State Park for a picnic. But let’s be honest, Florida has two seasons: "pretty nice outside" and "a lizard just stared at you from your lanai like you owe him rent."

That is why you need a good screen. My name is David, and I run DeBary Screen Repair by David. Being a 4th-generation Floridian and a 100% disabled veteran, I know that your outdoor space should be a place to relax, not a place to fight off giant mosquitoes. My brain works a bit differently—I’m neurodivergent, which just means I get super focused on making sure every single screen is perfect. I love this work!

Why you need a screen enclosure in Volusia County

Whether you are near the St. Johns River or living close to the SunRail station in DeBary, the bugs here are serious. A screen enclosure keeps the pests out. It also keeps leaves and debris from blowing onto your patio. If you have ever spent an hour cleaning your porch only for a gust of wind to fill it with oak leaves again, you know exactly what I mean!

Common patio enclosure options

When you look at your home, you might wonder what kind of screen you need. Here are a few ways to upgrade your space:

• Pool Cages: These cover your whole pool area. They are great for keeping leaves out of the filter. It makes swimming in the summer much nicer.
• Lanai or Porch Screens: These are the most common. They turn your back porch into an extra room where you can drink your coffee without being bothered by bugs.
• Window Screens: Sometimes you just want to open the windows and let a breeze in. We can help with those, too.

How we can help you fix it

You don’t have to spend a fortune to keep your screens looking new. At DeBary Screen Repair by David, I keep my pricing simple and fair. I am a 100% disabled veteran-owned business (License #L23000258525), and I take pride in being honest with my neighbors in Volusia County.

Our clear pricing guide:

• Pool cage wall panels: $65
• Pool cage roof panels: $130
• Lanai, porch, or window panels: $75
• Minimum service call: $130

Living the Florida dream

I love traveling around our area to help folks out. I’ve driven past the beautiful DeBary Hall Historic Site many times. I have customers all the way from the Sanford Historic District up to DeLand’s Artisan Alley. I’ve even seen plenty of folks stopping by the Deltona Walmart on Howland Blvd to grab supplies before heading out to New Smyrna Beach for a beach day.

Whether you are closer to Orange City's Blue Spring State Park—where the manatees hang out to stay warm—or you live near the Betty Steflik Preserve, your home is your castle. If you are starting to see holes in your screens, don't wait until the mosquitos find them! It is much easier to fix a small tear before it becomes a giant rip that lets a whole family of bugs inside.

Why choose a local expert?

I am a one-man show, and I like it that way. When you call, you talk to me, not a robot or a big call center. I pay attention to the little things because I want my work to last. I know how much pride we all take in our homes here in Central Florida. From the roar of the engines at the Daytona International Speedway to the quiet mornings near the St. Johns River, we live in a special place. I want to help you enjoy your backyard as much as I enjoy mine.
